Calendar of events.

  • Each class will break down into 20 hour long sessions, Monday through Friday, skipping over holidays. The cost of sessions may vary based on the supplies and tools needed.

  • Below is list a tenative class schedule and description. These are subject to change based on enrolment and other factors.

Cartoons, Comics & Manga! This class will explore the art of cartooning and the variety of styles and techniques that utilize illustration to tell stories, create characters and build worlds. The main goal of this class will be to tell a short story in the cartooning style of your choosing. The students will have access to a variety of drawing tools, references and guidance to accomplish this goal. The students will practice drawing a variety of objects and basic anatomy in order to try and develop their own style, and then apply that knowledge to the creation of a final project. They could create a comic strip, a comic book page or cover, a manga page or cover, a cartoon portrait or any other ideas we can think of.

This class is $350 for 20 classes and will run from January 3rd -January 31st

Classes will be limited to 12 students until conditions change and students will be encouraged to wear a mask until local infection rates start to diminish.

Watercolor Landscapes This is a specific look at the watercolor medium. The students will learn basic watercolor technique and then create a plan to use those techniques to create a unique landcape. Students can use reference images or create landscapes from their imaginations. Each student will get a watercolor palette and an alottment of watercolor paper to experiment on and to create a final project. The final project will not excede 8x10 unless other arrangements are made regarding paper.

This class is $375 for 20 classes and will run from February 1st till March 1st.

Sculpture and 3D design This class is an exploration of sculpture and 3D design. We will experiment creating 3D structures using paper, cardboard, wire and air dry clay. Students will then come up with a project idea and a plan to work towards a specific goal in creating their own 3D work of art. Students may need to provide extra supplies depending on the scope of the project. Students may explore traditional sculpture, utilitarian designe, abstract, architectural or most anything else they can imagine.

This class is $375 for 20 classes and will run from March 2nd
